Sally Ovenall

​Integrative Qualified Counsellor 

​Sally is an integrative qualified counsellor who works as an associate for EPE. She is registered with the BACP and specialises in working with children and young people.

She graduated with a BSc in Psychology with Criminology in 2016 and then went on to complete her MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Keele University between 2017 and 2019. 

Since graduating, she has held varied counselling roles with Place2be, Base 25, and currently works part-time with Black Country Women’s Aid and as a school counsellor. In the past, she also gained experience as a support worker for young adults with Autism and mental health diagnoses. 

Sally individually tailors counselling sessions to each young person and is open to using creative resources to help clients express themselves through alternative ways to talking. Her particular specialism is trauma, but can work with young people with a range of different struggles, such as anxiety, anger management, confidence/self-esteem and low mood. 

Outside of work, she loves seeing friends, travelling, listening to music, dog walks and going to the gym
